My background is in art, right back to my maternal Grandmother. I studied fine art and fashion and textiles at Gloucestershire College and by 1998 I had started tattooing professionally, after a year long apprenticeship with Alan Hale of Alzone Tattoo studio, Gloucester.
My tattoo work is mostly a combination of semi realistic images and hand drawn things. I enjoy both, either together or separately. It makes me a fairly versatile artist and I enjoy working with colour or black and grey. Being able to design a custom tattoo for clients, to fit their ideas, is a fun challenge. I also do many cover up tattoos and scar cover ups too.
It’s really important to me, to keep working with other artists. I enjoy the few conventions that I work and will possibly do some guest spots later in life. Working with others, in a tattoo shop and away from home, is always so beneficial and fun.
